VOLUNTEER & COACH WITH UPPER KEYS LEGENDS
Help Us Build Something Special for Upper Keys Kids
Upper Keys Legends is powered by parents, volunteers, coaches, and community members who want to create more opportunities for kids in the Upper Keys.
Whether you have years of coaching experience, want to help on game days, enjoy working with kids, or simply want to give back to your community, there is a place for you on our team.
You do not need to be an expert in football to make a difference.
Our goal is to create a safe, positive, and inclusive environment where kids can learn, compete, build confidence, stay active, and have fun.
COACH WITH US
Make an Impact Beyond the Game
Coaches play a crucial role in the Upper Keys Legends experience.
We are looking for positive role models who are willing to teach, encourage, and help young athletes develop both on and off the field.
As a coach, you may help kids:
💪 Above all, build Character, Confidence, and Commitment
🏈 Learn the fundamentals of flag football
🤝 Learn teamwork and sportsmanship
📈 Develop new skills
😊 Have fun and stay active
⭐ Learn lessons that extend beyond the field
Previous coaching experience is welcome, but it is not required.
We believe great coaches are not just people who know the game. Great coaches are patient, dependable, encouraging, and committed to helping kids succeed.
We will work to provide coaches with the information, resources, and support they need to have a successful season.
VOLUNTEER WITH US
There Are Many Ways to Get Involved
Not interested in coaching? We still need you!
Volunteers help make our programs possible. Depending on your interests and availability, opportunities may include:

- Helping with registration and check-in
- Setting up and breaking down fields
- Assisting with equipment
- Helping with game-day operations
- Supporting special events
- Taking photos or helping with communications
- Assisting with fundraising and sponsorships
- Helping with community outreach
- Supporting behind-the-scenes league operations
Even a few hours of your time can make a difference.
Parents, grandparents, students, local businesses, and community members are all encouraged to get involved.
OUR COMMITMENT TO A SAFE ENVIRONMENT
The safety and well-being of our participants is a top priority.
Volunteers and coaches who work directly with children will be required to complete background screening and comply with applicable Florida laws and organization policies before participating.
Additional training, certifications, or safety requirements may apply depending on the volunteer role.
Our goal is to create an environment where families can feel confident that their children are surrounded by positive adults who are committed to their safety, development, and success.
WHY VOLUNTEER?
Youth sports are about more than what happens on the scoreboard.
When you volunteer with Upper Keys Legends, you are helping create opportunities for local kids to participate, learn, grow, and feel connected to their community.
You may only see your impact during a practice, a game, or a single conversation.
But the lessons kids learn from positive coaches and volunteers can last far beyond the season.
Your time can help create a positive experience and a lasting impact for a child in our community.
