A Local Nonprofit Built for the Upper Keys
Upper Keys Legends provides safe, non-contact flag football for VPK through 8th grade throughout the Upper Keys. We’re a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping young athletes build character, confidence, and commitment on and off the field. Every child is welcome, and everyone plays.
Registration fees and donations are reinvested into equipment, fields, scholarships, coaching, and youth programming.
WHAT WE DO
YOUTH FLAG FOOTBALL DIVISIONS
- Pee-Wee: VPK-K ($75)
- Rookies: 1st – 2nd Grade ($95)
- Playmakers: 3rd – 5th Grade ($95)
- Legends: 6th – 8th Grade ($95)
CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT
Football teaches lessons that extend beyond the field. Our coaches help players build confidence, practice good sportsmanship, learn from mistakes, work as a team, and develop the discipline and resilience that can help them both on and off the field.
INCLUSIVE PARTICIPATION
We believe every child deserves the opportunity to play, learn, and grow. Our programs welcome athletes of different ages, experience levels, and abilities, with an emphasis on participation, skill development, teamwork, and having fun.
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
Upper Keys Legends is built around the community we serve. We work with local families, volunteers, coaches, businesses, and community partners to create positive opportunities for local youth and strengthen the connections that make the Upper Keys a great place to grow up.
LOCATION
- Games will be held at Founders Park on Saturdays

FEATURED INITIATIVE
TAKING UPPER KEYS KIDS ON THE WATER
Upper Keys Legends is partnering with The Poppa Wahoo Collective to give six Upper Keys kids who have never experienced open-water fishing from a charter boat the opportunity to get out on the water.
The Poppa Wahoo Collective is generously providing the fishing trip at no cost to the families. Upper Keys Legends will provide the tip, helping make this experience possible for local kids who may not otherwise have the opportunity.
This is about more than fishing. It’s about giving kids a chance to experience something new, explore the waters around their community, and create memories they’ll carry with them.
