Where We Play
Our league uses three primary locations for season activities: Founders Park, Key Largo Community Park, and Friendship Park. Together, these locations allow us to provide games, evaluations, and practices for families throughout the Upper Keys.
Founders Park – Game Location
Address: 87000 Overseas Hwy, Islamorada, FL 33036
Used For: Regular season games, playoffs, and championship week
Practice space is also available at Founders Park.
Founders Park is the home of Upper Keys Legends flag football. The park offers:
- Well‑maintained athletic fields
- Ample parking
- Restrooms and family‑friendly facilities
- Easy access from Key Largo, Tavernier, and Islamorada
All games from October 31 through December 12 are played at Founders Park.
Key Largo Community Park – Practice and Evaluation Location
Address: 500 St. Croix Place, Key Largo, FL 33037
Used For: Player evaluations, preseason activities, and practices
Key Largo Park provides a convenient location for families in the Upper Keys. The park features:
- Open fields ideal for evaluations
- Central location for Key Largo families
- Easy parking
- Access to playground, tennis court, skate park, and basketball court
Evaluation Dates:
- September 27
- October 3
Athletes from 1st – 8th Grade only need to attend one evaluation.
Athletes in VPK or Kindergarten do not need to attend evaluations.
Friendship Park – Practice Location
Address: 69 Hibiscus Lane, Key Largo, FL 33037
Used For: Practices
Friendship Park provides an alternative location for families in the Upper Keys. The park features:
- An open field for practice
- Playground and access to restrooms
- Easy parking
- Note: Friendship Park is not equipped with lighting

Our nonprofit selected these parks because they offer:
- Safe, well‑maintained fields
- Central access for all Upper Keys families
- Convenient facilities and restrooms for families
- Locations that allow us to serve multiple Upper Keys communities
These locations help us deliver a consistent, high‑quality experience for every athlete.
Service Area
Upper Keys Legends serves families throughout:
- Key Largo
- Tavernier
- Islamorada
Game Day Information
- Coordinate with coaches but plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early
- Bring water and a mouthguard
- Cleats required (no metal)
- Jerseys and flags provided (Coaches will hand out prior to games)
- Coaches and staff available for assistance
